The History Of Yellow Jacket
"Necessity Is The Mother Of Invention"
In 1999 a leading Metal Fabricator designed and developed the first Yellow Jacket machine to solve both internal and external challenges of securing pallet loads. Traditional methods did not secure and protect products well enough and customers also requested better alternatives.
The Yellow Jacket proved to be the perfect solution and soon the company was being asked to produce additional machines for customers and competitors. Unable to meet demand and recognizing an opportunity to supply market challenges, the company sold the assets of Yellow Jacket LLP to Illinois Tool Works, Inc. (ITW) in 2007. The Yellow Jacket brand name, equipment and sales/marketing focus remained the same though it moved to Muller, and remains a trusted product in their portfolio of system solutions.
