Technologies available at two booths; Muller LCS Booth #1519 and Booth #1223
Chicago, IL, (January 21, 2013)—Muller LCS, a leading manufacturer of both innovative stretch wrap equipment and high quality stretch wrap film, is exhibiting at ProMat 2013 in Chicago, Illinois at Booth #1223 and #1519. The company will showcase two of its most innovative technologies, the Octopus ‘S’ Series automatic rotary ring stretch wrapper and the 87M Yellow Jacket Orbital Stretch Wrap Machine.
Muller LCS will showcase its Octopus ‘S’ Series automatic rotary ring stretch wrapper in-line with StorFast AS/RS high density automated storage and retrieval systems for the first time in North America at Booth #1223. The Octopus “S” Series has been newly designed and will feature a load stabilizer, new load lift conveyer and the highly anticipated No Touch No Tail (NT²) seaming device- an effective and efficient alternative to heat seal pads or wipe down systems. The Octopus ‘S’ Series comes equipped with the new patented Easy S Film Carriage which enables simple film loading, maximizes pre-stretch performance and minimizes wear. StorFast AS/RS is a cart-based solution offering higher density and throughput than traditional crane-based systems.
“We are thrilled to showcase our Octopus ‘S’ Series in-line with the StorFast system,” says Michael Klear, Market Development Manager, Muller LCS. “Both technologies are designed to simplify processes, offer greater flexibility, and improve efficiency. Attendees will be able to visualize how these systems work together and understand the value the technologies bring to warehouses.”
At Booth # 1519, attendees can experience Muller LCS' 87M Yellow Jacket Orbital Stretch Wrap Machine. The Orbital wrapper is ideal for securing oversized, oddly shaped, palletized loads while the pallet remains on the forklift. On display at the show, the machine will demonstrate its efficiency while wrapping an extremely difficult load. Yellow Jacket’s Orbital Stretch Wrap is available in manual or semi-automatic. The 87M requires a footprint of only about 8’x9’ and runs on 110VAC- making it easy to install in most any plant. It also wraps a standard pallet size up to a 68” diagonal.
“The Yellow Jacket machine was built to solve a market need to efficiently wrap otherwise impossible loads,” says Klear. “We are excited to showcase the possibilities this machine has to offer.”
